Something that stood out in Thursday's class was the Power presentations. In both Power presentations the groups mentioned that power is not only your strength. Power also shows the position in your life, where you stand on your power scale. Power is the way you are. I noticed this reminded me on how the story "The Most Dangerous Game," reveals the people's power. The hunters power of threatening to get his way. Also, having loads of money allowing him to do whatever he wants and whenever he wants to do it. Related to corruption and getting what you want.(Status in life.) I learned that power isn't everything but its a huge part of who you are and how you succed in life.
I really enjoyed the class and how we worked together as a group, and able to work with who we wanted. Working with your friends makes public speaking easier:)

I thought Thursday's class was pretty interesting, what with all the presentations and everything. I liked how we were able to use the internet to connect our ideas and show images to make our presentations stronger. I found that all the topics connected with eachother, and all our short stories. I think if you're lacking in self worth, it affects how you handle power, and it also affects your integrity. In "The Charmer", Zachary, although a powerful figure in his househould, had a lack of self worth, as he demonstrated in the way he treated his siblings and parents. If he had a greater amount of appreciation for himself, he'd understand that when you love who you are, you dont feel the need to justify your actions by treating others in a horrible way, or abusing whatever form of power you've acquired. I agree with the post above, about working with who you want. It creates a sense of ease for people who don't do well with public speaking.

This picture shows power in my opinion because everybody has power over something or someone. All of us have power over our life's and our actions, but there are people that have higher power than others like prime minister or president.
